David Jones delivers a compelling argument that the true birthplace of Hockey is in Dartmouth Nova-Scotia, Canada. There is evidence that the first games were played on Lake Banook. Lake Banook also happens to be the location of the world’s first skate manufacturing company Starr Manufacturing in Dartmouth. Windsor NS currently boasts that they are the birthplace of hockey.
